SOW A MINI MEADOW

There has been a rapid decline of green space in the UK since the end of the second world war. This has resulted in a 97% loss of natural Bee and Butterfly habitats, because of this, these beautifull creatures need your help. Help to Bring the Bees Back and restore lost habitats by growing mini meadows. You can sow a mini meadow in your garden, on your balcony or even pots on your doorstep.

Beebombs are perfect for growing a mini meadow and just one pack will provide coverage for roughly 21 sq ft / 2m² of lost habitat. Beebombs are handmade in Dorset and each one is packed with 18 native species of British Wildflower.

Made from clay and sifted top soil, Beebombs are packed with 1000s of seeds.  Simply scatter your Beebombs onto cleared ground in Spring or Autumn and let the sun and the rain do the rest. Wildflower seeds germinate slowly so be patient. Furthermore, Autumn sowings may not germinate until the following Spring depending on the weather. Plastic free packaging makes this an all-round winner for us.

If kept cool and dry, Beebombs will store well and lay dormant for many years.

You could also make your own Beebombs with our Wildflower Seedball Making Kit.
