Hedgehog Snack and Water Bowl

These bowls are made from hi-fired frost resistant ceramic. The Snack bowl has a drainage hole. Pack contains one shallow water bowl and one snack bowl.

Leave food and water out each evening remembering to remove any uneaten food the next day. Wash bowls regularly as bacteria can cause illness in animals.

Hedgehogs are lactose intolerant, so milk is a definite NO. Use a specially formulated Hedgehog food or a non-fish based cat food. There has been increasing numbers of Hedgehogs with metabolic bone disease in recent years. It is suspected that the cause is likely to be diet related. Foods such as mealworms, sunflower hearts and peanuts all strip the bones of calcium so avoid these too.
